Our friends Paper Plane Project have just dropped their new 7 track EP, 'Miles Apart'. Quality as always.
"EP by Australian production duo Paper Plane Project. A blend of soulful hip hop, low-slung beats, future funk, boogie and Latin rhythms, it features vocals from LA artists J. Mitchell (Common, Exile) and MC Raashan Ahmad (Crown City Rockers), as well live horns and verses from local Sydney group True Vibenation. Following up from their acclaimed debut LP ‘Pacific Connection (2011)’, this new release shows an evolution in the Paper Plane Project sound with a sonic freshness that still contains that soulful, jazz-influenced vibe."

"Before becoming a legendary director, Stanley Kubrick was a poor kid from the Bronx who did photojournalism for Look magazine in the 1940s in and around New York City. He shot on the sly, often times his camera concealed in a paper bag with a hole in it. Of the some odd 10 000 black and white photographs he took while working at the magazine, VandM chose a total of 25, which have now been made available as prints". Via MashKulture.
